Hey there, I'm Ash!

Ash Talks About was born out of wanderlust and has evolved through exploration of my creativity.

​

My creative journey really kicked off during my time at East Carolina University. After graduating with a degree in Communication, I fell completely in love with the charm, the community, and the slow, beautiful rhythm of Eastern North Carolina, and I decided to make the Greenville area my permanent home.

​

I started out simply as an explorer in my own backyard. I spent my free time visiting local independent shops, trying out hidden-gem restaurants, and spending weekends at neighborhood eateries, coffee shops, and breweries. I began sharing those authentic experiences and community snapshots on social media, connecting with fellow locals who loved this region just as much as I did.

​

Over time, that love for our community sparked a new wave of personal creativity. I began diving into different hobbies and crafts to express my experiences, which ultimately led me to digital art. What started as a fun creative outlet quickly turned into designing my own custom art prints and vinyl stickers under my creative side brand, AMG Creates Stuff.

The turning point came when I took a leap and started selling my physical stickers locally at Cooper’s Cup in downtown Winterville, NC. Seeing the community embrace my little designs on their favorite water bottles, laptops, and planners was the ultimate validation. It gave me the confidence to take the next big step: expanding further into the digital space.

That brings us here! Ash Talks About LLC and this online shop are the culmination of years of exploring, romanticizing the mundane, and celebrating the unique spirit of Eastern North Carolina.
